📚 How do students earn a Brag Tag?

To qualify for Perfect Attendance, students must:
🐾 Attend school every day during the month
🐾 Have NO absences
🐾 Have no more than 5 combined tardies or early check-outs

🔄 The challenge resets every month!
That means every Bulldog gets a fresh start and a new chance to earn a Brag Tag each month!

Starting Monday, February 2nd, we will kick off our Coin Wars event! Students are encouraged to bring in coins to support their grade level.

Don't forget to join us on Thursday, January 29th from 4:30-6:00. All families are welcome to visit their child(ren)'s classroom to make a fun art project to take home! PTC will be selling snacks and goodies as well!

Hello JC Families! As we begin the 2025-2026 school year, we would like you to be aware of our morning drop off procedures. Designated drop off areas are the back gate, along Hercules St. or the front of the school, along Willow St.

Vehicles are not permitted to drive into the bus circle and drop off along the curb; this will be a bus zone only. Parking is permitted in the parking lot, but it is not a designated student drop off area. Please follow the signs to the drop off zone, and walk along the sidewalk and onto campus through the front gate.

¡Hola familias de JC! Al comenzar el año escolar 2025-2026, les informamos sobre nuestros procedimientos para dejar a sus hijos. Las zonas designadas para dejar a sus hijos son la puerta trasera, sobre la calle Hércules, o la parte delantera de la escuela, sobre la calle Willow.

No se permite el acceso vehicular a la rotonda de autobuses ni la bajada de los alumnos en la acera; esta zona será exclusiva para autobuses. Se permite estacionar en el estacionamiento, pero no es una zona designada para dejar a los alumnos. Por favor, sigan las señales hacia la zona de bajada, caminen por la acera y entren al campus por la puerta principal.

HUSD is excited to partner with Think Together to offer fun activities, enrichment and care during the upcoming spring break, March 24-28th.
