After School Education Services (ASES)

ASES is a program that has been designed to offer our students a safe place to go after school, get extra help in reading and math, and assistance with homework. This program is put on in conjunction with the City of Hesperia, the Hesperia Recreation and Parks Department, and Hesperia Unified School District. The program runs daily from after school through 6:00pm. The cost of the program is $13.00 per week. Registration forms are available in the office.

FLAIR

FLAIR is an after school program that takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at certain times throughout the year. This program gives English language learner in grades two through six to receive additional help with the mastery of the standards.

Student Study Teams (SST’s)

The goal of the Student Study Team is to meet together as staff and parents to discuss a child’s progress in school. Teachers or parents may ask for a meeting anytime they are concerned about a student. The team discusses strategies and approaches to better help the student. If at anytime you are concerned about your student’s progress in school, please discuss it with the teacher and ask for a SST meeting.

Speech Therapy

The speech therapy program is designed to identify and assist students with speech problems. Children suspected of having a problem are referred to the speech therapist for evaluation through the SST process. If a problem is identified, the child will be placed on the speech therapist’s schedule.
