The Wii Room

By: Lili Otiz and Elizabeth Bamishaye

Hey JC Bulldogs, do you know what you have to do to get to the Wii Room?

First of all, we should tell you that the Wii Room is in room 42 every Friday during lunch. To get to the Wii Room you must have good behavior and perfect attendance all week. Also, you can’t be late to class all week. If you have perfect  attendance and good behavior your name will be put in a drawing. Each teacher will pull one name out of the drawing. The winners of the drawing go to the Wii Room during lunch recess. The teachers take turns to supervise the Wii Room. So JC Bulldogs, you should work hard on your behavior and attendance, and you will have a better chance to be picked out of the drawing to play games in the Wii room on Friday. Good luck!

Earthquake Preparedness

by Devin Marshall and Angel Gonzalez

Hello J.C. Bulldogs. We are going to write about the emergency preparedness plan. As you all know, there have been major earthquakes in Haiti Chile. The one in Haiti was very devastating.  Houses were destroyed, family members injured, and many lives lost. The earthquake in Chile was by the ocean, which caused a tsunami that headed toward Hawaii. Thankfully, no one was injured in Hawaii. But the earthquake still killed over 400 people. We are asking the students at Joshua Circle School to bring in earthquake baggies.  You will need food, water, and a picture or note from your parents/guardians.  Hopefully, we will not need to use them, so they will be sent home the last day of school.
